Can hot salt water be used to thaw frozen car doors?

Is it your locks or the door itself sticking to the weather strip inside the door? Lock deicer will take care of frozen door locks but if door is sticking to stripping because of the cold, open the door and spray the weather stripping with PAM cooking spray or something of the same nature. Trust me this works, I've done it to quite a few vehicles that show up at my shop. I've had alot of customers look at me like I'm crazy but get a phone call the next morning from them saying they can't believe how easy it was to open their door this morning or that there locks are frozen, lol.
