I don't think there is any scientific proof that if you lay down after that you will get pregnant, but it certainly helps. Like the first answerer said, the sperm that would have gotten you pregnant would already be there because when your partner s, he shoots it up in there. That is what the is for because the sperms come from the testicles, so it is basically like a little gun that shoots the sperm through the cervix and into the fallopian tubes. I don't think it would matter one way or the other. I've tried it both ways and gotten pregnant from both methods, so it doesn't increase your chances. Baby dust.
