Will the Free Visa on Arrival for Thailand be extended?

Being Indian, I require a visa-on-arrival for Thailand. Last September when I visited Phuket I was pleasantly surprised to see that visa-on-arrival that usually costs 1000 baht is free till March 2011. I'm traveling to Bangkok in May this year. I wonder if anyone know if the free visa-on-arrival scheme would be extended.
