How do i Edit pics on my computer using a scanner?

Okay i am trying to edit a picture i drew on the computer using my scanner. the pic is all hand drawin and everything. i was wondering if i could use the computer to maybe sharpen up the lines and everything. is so please help me :( (just an FWI its for a Band)
